Kebaili Aghiles
I'm a machine learning and artificial intelligence research scientist specialized in deep learning and computer vision models, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in medical imaging at Henri Becquerel Cancer Center and the University of Rouen-Normandy, France.
I'm mainly interested in generative models, especially diffusion models for augmenting multimodal MRI data. Check my latest publication accepted at IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging.
Timeline
Ph.D. in computer vision applied to medical imaging
University of Rouen-Normandy, Rouen, France
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in medical imaging at the University of Rouen-Normandy, France, in collaboration with the Henri Becquerel Cancer Center. My primary research interests lie in generative models, particularly diffusion models for enhancing multimodal MRI data generation. My ultimate goal is the prediction of tumor regions during cancer recurrence.
Oct, 2022 - currentData scientist
Stellantis, Paris
Analysis and exploration of massive HR data to derive valuable observations for decision making. I worked on the implementation of intelligent algorithms allowing the automation of some manual tasks, e.g. Semantic textual similarity using Transformers (BERT), textual clustering using KMeans & LDA, all alongside other tasks like data cleaning & data visualization.
2021 - 2022Computer vision master's degree
University of Paris, Paris, France
Second best French university in research, I acquired deep knowledge in computer vision. The course mainly comprises statistical and deep learning algorithms, I implemented different projects in medical imaging, remote sensing and robotics.
2021 - currentArtificial intelligence master's degree
University of Western Brittany, Brest, France
I explored different fields of artificial intelligence through the prism of interaction: knowledge representation and reasoning, combinatorial optimisation, robotics. etc. All alongside the study of hardware architectures such as FPGAs and SIMD acceleration.
2020 - 2021Skills
Computer vision
I have experienced many different with computer vision, including object detection, semantic segmentation or motion tracking. I have also achieved different projects on remote sensing, medical imaging or for autonomous vehicles (In particular at Stellantis).
Machine learning & Deep learning
Machine learning is an integral part of my journey. I have worked in most sub-fields of machine learning, including supervised learning, clustering, data mining and, more specifically, deep learning, in which I have significant experience.
Natural language processing
I have made several natural language processing applications, including the traditional process of text cleaning and preprocessing. I worked on semantic textual similarity, textual clustering, topic modeling, and neural machine translation.
Data analysis
I worked for several months as a data analyst in a human resources department. I analysed massive data to derive observations necessary for decision making. I mainly used SAP Business object and Power BI.
Web development
I also experienced some web development projects in my first university years, mainly using frameworks like React JS (which I used to develop this website) and Redux for data storing. Always useful for a computer scientist.
Programming languages
Indeed, my favourite language is python which I master perfectly; however, the list of languages I know extends to many more, including C/C++, Java, Golang, SQL, Ada, and most importantly, assembly language.
